Wisconsin Chapter AFS - Membership

Membership in the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Fisheries Society is open to anyone interested in the progress of fisheries science and education, and the conservation and management of fisheries resources in Wisconsin. Active membership in the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Fisheries Society will provide many opportunities to advance your growth as a fisheries professional The award winning newsletter and the ability to network with other fisheries and aquatic resource professionals from government, academia, fish culture and the private sector will keep you abreast of all the latest techniques and issues.

Membership is an unbelievable bargain at $10 per year for non-students and FREE for students. To become a member or renew your membership, please follow one of the following steps:

Non-students:

1) Complete the online Membership Dues form and pay your dues ($10 annually) using PayPal.

2) If you are a new member, make sure that you send an email to Bradley Eggold so he can invite you to join the Wisconsin AFS Google Group. This will allow you to send or receive e-mails that use the Wisconsin AFS Google group e-mail (wisconsin-afs@googlegroups.com).

Students:

1) Complete the online Membership Dues form which will then direct you to PayPal to complete a $1 payment. However, look for and select the cancellation hyperlink which will return you to our page, NOT charge you anything, AND include you in our membership database.

2) If you are a new member, make sure that you send an email to Bradley Eggold so he can invite you to join the general (wisconsin-afs@googlegroups.com) and student-specific (wisconsin-afs---students@googlegroups.com) Wisconsin AFS Google groups. This will allow you to send or receive e-mails from either Google group.

All memberships are for a calendar year.  New memberships and renewals received January 1 through August 31 are processed for full membership that calendar year.  Those received September 1 or later are processed for full membership beginning January 1 of the following year. We suggest that you become a member of the National AFS but you do not have to be a member of the Wisconsin Chapter to be a national member.

If you have any PayPal or dues questions please contact Lori Tate.
